B. A. Degree in Guidance and Counselling Programme

The B. A. Degree in Guidance and Counselling a degree completion programme is designed for teachers or allied professionals who are diploma graduates with at least a B average, and as such would already have the required foundation courses in Education. The course lasts for approximately two and a half (2 ½) years.

The B. A. Degree in Guidance and Counselling requires a total of forty-two (42) credits. On the recommendation of the Programmes Advisor, a student can be considered for exemption and can receive credits for equivalent courses already taken at the Undergraduate level in another accredited tertiary institution.

Registration Fee: $1,000.00 (which includes a copy of the ITLD catalogue)

When registering for the programme applicants are required to return the completed application form with the following documents: 2 passport size pictures

Original copies of Educational qualifications

Transcript(s) from Tertiary institution attended

1 page documents detailing “How I assisted someone in solving a problem through counselling”.

An application will only be considered with the completed application form and the relevant documents.

An academic year runs for three (3) semesters - September – December / January – May / May – July

Students may complete a maximum of two (2) courses in Semesters I & II and one course in Semester III (Summer).

Cost per course: $14,000.00 (per semester)

Annual Fee: $200.00 (paid at the beginning of each academic year after acceptance)
